Tito N. Carosio's Obituary
Tito N. Carosio, age 84 of Canadian Lakes, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Masonic Pathways in Alma. A funeral mass will be held Monday, June 2nd, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, at 11:00 am with Fr. Aaron Ferris as celebrant. Visitation will take place Sunday evening at Hansen Janowicz Funeral Home in Remus from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a vigil service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Canadian Lakes Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
Tito was born December 1, 1929, in Detroit, MI, the son of Umberto and Rosalina (Panciatici) Carosio. After working for Ford Motor Company for 37 years, he retired at the age of 57. Tito was an avid golfer who managed to get five hole in ones in four different states. He was a great mentor and teacher to his children and their spouses. They remember him for always being calm while reasoning with them or teaching them something new. Tito was known to be a gentleman, a great cook, a kind and caring person, and able to build or fix anything.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Teresa; children, Louis ( Ruthanne) Carosio, Janice (Kurt) Karlson, Mike (Mary Anne) Carosio, Cathy ( Donald) Rozmiarek, and Sandra (Tim) Miller; sisters, Catherine and Ada (Raymond), and nine grandchildren.
Tito was preceded in death by his son, Dale, in 1999, and his parents.
