? ? ? ? ??Big Rapids Toni Lea King, 77, of Big Rapids passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011. She was born April 9, 1933 in Reed City, the daughter of Walter and Alice Fowler. Toni was the tenth born of eleven children. She graduated from Big Rapids High School. After high school she joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. She later worked at Ferris and then Fox 17 television station in Grand Rapids. Toni enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her creative side included writing poems and doing arts and crafts. She is survived by her children, Gwen (Don) Hemholt of Comstock Park, Robert (Marilyn) King of Big Rapids, Richard (Nikki Piatanesi) King of Santa Rosa, California; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and six sisters, Eleanor, Gerry, Margi, Phyllis, Polly and Jan. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
