Travis Dean Rowley's Obituary
Big Rapids - Travis Dean Rowley, 17, of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born December 24, 1996, in Fremont, the son of Kenneth L., II and Patricia L. (Harrison) Rowley. Travis would have been a senior at Big Rapids High School this fall. He had planned on entering military service following graduation, and then attend college to become a diesel mechanic. Travis was very interested in tractors and farming, and hunting and fishing. He was actively involved with the Cadet Program at the Woodville Community Church. Travis is survived by his father and mother, and 4 sisters, Kelly, Katie, Audrey, and Tia; 2 brothers, Ken and Terry,his grandfather, Kenneth Rowley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carolyn Rowley, and Hilda and Dean Vandenbosch. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, at the Woodville Community Church, with Pastor Brent Werner officiating. Travis' family will greet friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions in his name may be left at the church or in care of the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, where arrangements are entrusted.
