My Uncle Trevor was a loving father and a steadfast husband. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a big hug at the ready. I remember climbing into his big long haul truck around four years old and thinking how unbelievably cool he was. As an adult I enjoyed his salty political comments on Facebook. He truly cared about our society, just like he truly cared about his family. Rest in peace Uncle Trevor, you are loved.
Trevor and I were sitting at the Sawmill having a beer or more one sunny Saturday afternoon. We were talking politics and solving the world's problems. After spending several hours with Trevor I picked up his accent and started sounding like him. Someone came in and sat at the bar near us. After listening to us for a few minutes he asked if we were brothers. Of course we said yes and proceeded to entertain him with fictitious tales of childhood escapades. Trevor was an honest person who cared about the world and the people around him. He will be missed. Rest brother.
I remember my husband, Bert Thorstenson, coming home one day after work and telling me of a chance meeting with Trevor that day. Bert was having quite a laugh about the way Trevor was referring to his latest job. Apparently he was delivering sides of beef to area grocery stores and referred to that job description as “I’m hauling cow parts.”
Trevor was quite an interesting fellow, an honest man, a person you could trust. Bert had much respect for Trevor.
I’m very sad to learn of Trevor’s passing. My deepest condolences to Lynn, his Sons, and all family members.

I have fond memories of a St. Patrick's Day in Schuberg's, sharing a booth with Lynn and Trevor and learning about the relative merits of Bushmill's and Jameson's. As I recall, there was a taste test involved. Irish blessings to you all.
Trevor, Lynn, and the boys were my neighbors from the time I was a year or 2 old. Trevor was the kindest man you could ever meet. I remember one time in particular, Trevor took my sister, Krissy, Danny, Brian, and myself to Dairy Queen in his 1960-something VW bus. I remember listening to him talk and just being fascinated by his accent. There’s so many memories I could list and I’m so grateful to have known such a wonderful man. Him and his family were a huge part of my childhood and for that I’ll forever miss Trevor. I am so sorry to Lynn, Danny, and Brian for their loss. I know this has hit them hard and just want them to know they are in my thoughts and in my heart and I love them.
