Ty Anthony Martin's Obituary
Ty Anthony Martin, age 23, of Edmore passed away suddenly on August 16, 2020. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss
Ty was born April 27, 1997 to Joshua M. Martin and Rachel L. Tedhams in Victoria Texas. He was raised by his mother, Rachel Kalka, and stepfather, Michael Kalka in Lakeview, Michigan. After graduating from Lakeview High School in 2015, Ty was employed at a local Tool and Die company as a machinist.
At a young age, Ty absorbed everything he learned and loved having family read to him. He was able to read and write before he even started school. Ty had an immense passion for making his own creation with Legos.
At the age of 12, Ty created his own business cards and built a good reputation with neighbors by starting a small lawn care business. He loved RC trucks and was able to fund this hobby with the earnings from his lawn care business. Ty was always ambitious and hard-working.
In high school, Ty enjoyed wood working and built the most beautiful cutting boards. After Ty had his driver's license, he began working at the lumber yard after school. He was then able to purchase his first truck (thankfully he also had the aptitude and enjoyment for mechanical repair).
Anyone who knew Ty, knew he valued his family and friends most of all. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
He is survived by Half-brother Dakota Kalka; Half-brother Luke Kalka; Half-sister Samantha Martin; Step-brother Hunter Kalka; Uncle Jared Martin; Uncle Jason Tedhams; Aunt Terah Tedhams; Aunt Shalyn (Martin) Adame; Aunt Staci (Martin) Nicholson.
