Velma Bannen's Obituary
Velma Bannen, age 48, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday, September 22, 2016. Velma was born on January 29, 1968 in Weslaco, TX the daughter of Jose and Agustina (Cantu) Peralez.
Velma enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, dancing and loved to travel; when she was able to. She also enjoyed shopping getting all the latest fashions and jewelry. Velma was the life of any party, and was always so much fun to be around. She was known as the "Social Butterfly"; she made friends so easily. Velma loved spending time with family and friends and just having a good time no matter where she was. She will be missed dearly.
Funeral Services for Velma will take place 11:00 AM, Monday, September 26, 2016 from Brigham Funeral Chapel, Edmore with Father Dominic Tirkey to officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2016 also from Brigham Funeral Chapel, Edmore from 4-8 PM. Those wishing to do a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Wishes of the Bannen Family, in care of Beonica Deleno.
