Velma McWatters' Obituary
Big Rapids Velma McWatters, 78, of Big Rapids, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Altercare of Big Rapids. She was born November 30, 1930, in East Jordan, the daughter of Jesse E. and Stella (Walton) Trumpour. Velmas husband Edward McWatters preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Barbara Olstrom of Boyne City; niece Linda Barnes of East Jordan; many nieces and nephews; and special family, The Bill Ranshaw Family. Velma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Vera Ingalls and Violet Ross, and brother Solon Barnes. Cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
