Veva Ellen Tiirikainen's Obituary
Veva Tiirikainen was born on January 11, 1922 to Bruce and Gladys Coe. She married Ed Tirrikainen in 1949. She and Ed enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Through the years, she encouraged us to take time to enjoy the seasons of life as they came and to love our families well. She enjoyed a good game of cards and loved having her pets nearby.
Veva spent the last 6 years at Green Acres where she quickly became a favorite of the loving staff. She passed away on Sunday morning, April 26, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Gladys Coe; husband, Ed Tiirikainen; brother, Lewis Coe; sister, Freda Ostrander; and nephew, Don Chapin. She is survived by her niece, Vicky Chapin; her nephew, Bryan Coe and wife Diane, and nephew, Kirk Coe and wife Debbie; as well as great nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 1pm, Friday, May 1, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery with Pastor Zach Nyhuis officiating.
