Vicki Sue Gilman's Obituary
Edmore-Vicki Sue Gilman, age 74, of Edmore, Michigan, passed away while in Hospice Care on Saturday April 22, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in West Branch, Michigan on September 12, 1948, to Wendell and Bernice (Bryan) Laderoot. She was married June 5, 1967, to Robert Gilman Sr.; together they had three children, Dawn, Robert, and Rhonda. Her life could be defined as one that was spent serving and helping others whether it was through jobs or volunteer opportunities throughout her life. She also enjoyed bird watching, Camp Meeting, and her shih tzu Brat. She is survived by her children, Dawn (Gilman) Drumm of Vestaburg, Michigan, Robert (Sue Anne) Gilman of Six Lakes, Michigan, and Rhonda Dunman of Iuka, Mississippi; brother, Wendell Laderoot; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; many nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Bernice Laderoot; husband, Robert Gilman Sr.; sister, Debbie Brooks; daughter in-law, Shelly (Outman) Gilman; son in-law, Steve Drumm. A visitation will be held at Cedar Lake SDA Church on Sunday, April 30 from 10 am- 2 pm with the funeral service beginning at 2 pm, officiated by Pastor Ernest Wolf. The family would especially like to thank Hospice Care for their attentive, loving support in the final days of her life. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Edmore SDA VBS fund at P. O.
