Vicki Sue Wagner's Obituary
Edmore - Vicki Sue Wagner, age 76, of Lansing (formerly of Ionia) passed away at her home, with family by her side, on Friday, April 9, 2021. Vicki was born in Ionia on April 11th, 1944, the daughter of Donald F. and Marion (Mulford) Price. She was raised in Lyons and the Ionia Area where she attended the Badder one room schoolhouse and then continued her education at Lyons High School, where she went on to graduate with the class of 1962. Vicky went on to 1 year of college, at LLCC in the early 70's. On June 17th, 1987 she married Doug Wagner at Sheridan Christian Church on Main Street. Vicki was employed by Chrysler in Lyons as a line worker, various other factories, and as a waitress at various bars and restaurants throughout her lifetime. Her passion was flowers, gardening, shopping, solar power gadgets, hummingbirds and bird feeders, fishing and smelt dipping. She was always active and enjoyed the outdoors. Vicki loved her family and friends, was known for having a huge heart and had a real passion for helping others.
Vicki will be missed by her children, Vernon (Kristie) Misner of Ionia, Russell H. Misner Jr. of Portland, Suzette (Dave) Hartman of Jenison; grandchildren, Lacon Kowalewicz, Vaughn Misner, Alyssa Misner, Amber Misner, Russell Misner III, Nathan Misner, Leana Misner, Lydia Misner, and Ben Hartman; great-grandchildren, Penelope, Oceana, Gannon, Liam, Emryk, Alana, Bradon, Evertt, Camden, and Isabella.
Vicki was preceded in death by her husband Doug Wagner in 2018; her parents Donald F. Price and Marion Esch (stepfather Ardale Esch); children, Donald Misner, Michel Hinderline; siblings, Barry Price, Larry Price and Sally Price - Lewis.
Funeral Services for Vicki will take place at 12:00 PM on Thursday April 15th, 2021 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, with Pastor Robert Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. All are invited to a luncheon at the Church of the Gentle Shepherd, Six Lakes, Mi. following the internment at McBride Twp. Cemetery. Contributions in Vicki's name may be made to Montcalm Seiter Educational Center.
