Victor M. Wyczesany's Obituary
Edmore- Victor M. Wyczesany, age 81, of Edmore, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 11, 2019. Vic was born January 12, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Anna (Wych) Wyczesany. Vic was raised in Chicago, where he attended St. James Catholic School followed by Coyne Electrical School.
Vic was drafted into the United States Army on December 19, 1960 at 22 years of age and served his country honorably. He obtained the rank of Sergeant as a Green Beret (Special Forces) while serving, until December 10, 1963. It was while serving, that he met the love of his life Donna, through a picture of a fellow soldier's sister, and Vic just had to send her letters. The long-standing family joke was about his mail order bride Donna Graham with whom he spent 56 years. They were married October 20, 1962, at St. Veronica's Catholic Church in East Detroit, MI.
Vic was employed by ISI Manufacturing in Warren, Aunt Jane's Pickle Plant in Edmore, Lobdell Emery in Alma and PCA in Edmore. He was a Police Officer for Edmore and also a part time Deputy Sheriff for the Montcalm County Sheriff Department. Vic enjoyed watching TV, listening to classical and country music, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and racing stock cars. He loved socializing, making people happy and helping everyone out.
Vic is survived and loved by his wife Donna Wyczesany of Edmore; children Michael Wyczesany, Dwayne Wyczesany and Kathy (Tom) Stewart all of Edmore; grandson Corey Joseph; one sister Joan Karczewski; his special little yorkie poo Cuddles; and several nieces and nephews.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Wyczesany: parents-in-law Harold T. and Julia Graham: siblings Richard West, Johnny Wyczesany and Maryann Rioux; and brothers-in-law Harold R. "Bud" and Ralph J. Graham.
In accordance with Vic's wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly MI on June 07, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Condolences to the family may be made utilizing the guestbook at www.brighamfuneralchapel.com.
