Virgil Todd's Obituary
Virgil was the second child born to William and Emma (Norman) Todd on August 25, 1918. Virgil is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Durward and Marshall; one sister, Norma; his first wife, Bertha (Ricks); sons, Glen in 1959, Johnnie in 1967, and an infant son. Virgil was a farmer in Remus. Later he went to work for Electrolux (Gibson) in Greenville. He graduated from Remus High School in 1936 and was baptized into the Wheatland Church of Christ in 1938. He was a member of that church for many years. After Virgil married and moved to Sheridan, he became a member of the Evergreen Methodist Church.
He leaves to morn his wife, Dorothy; Brother, Zane; sister-in-law, Ione Todd; two grandchildren, Wendy Cross and Wade Todd, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Wheatland Church of Christ Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00pm. Visitation will take place at the church from noon to the time of service at 1:00pm.
