Vivien Ardice Frizzell's Obituary
Jackson - Vivien A. Frizzell, 102, of Jackson, MI, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021.
She was born April 2, 1918, in Detroit. Vivien taught cosmetology in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. She moved to Big Rapids in 1963 to teach at Ferris State College. She retired from Ferris in 1981 when the cosmetology program was discontinued.
Vivien is survived by three of her four children, E.G. "Hap" (Patti Swets) Frizzell of Grand Rapids, Jan (Bob) Williams of Jackson, and Jack Frizzell of Big Rapids; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lauzon Maxwell, her son Guy E. "Skip" Frizzell Jr., her grandson Joseph Frizzell, and her six brothers and sisters.
