Walter Dwight Behrenwald's Obituary
Walter Dwight Behrenwald, age 55, of Lakeview passed away at his home on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Walter was born on October 31, 1961 in Lakeview, the son of Bernard and Mirdza (Skuburs) Behrenwald.
Walt attended Lakeview School and graduated class of 1981. On September 24, 2016, he married Victoria Walrath Clanche. Walt was self employed as a metal fabricator for more than 37 years, and was the owner of W. B. Fabrications in Lakeview, MI. Walt enjoyed bowling, collecting old cars, going to Sliver Lake dunes, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Walt is survived his wife Victoria, one son Rodney Behrenwald of Lakeview, daughter Krista (Aaron) Arnold of Ionia, Step son Jordan Clanche of Lakeview, Step daughter Tara Clanche of Alma, Grandchildren Gabrielle, Karleigh, Kensington Arnold, Shevi, Garrett Behrenwald, Colton Taylor, Tyler Clanche. One Brother Bernard Allen Behrenwald of Lakeview and his parents Bernard and Mirdza Behrenwald.
Walt was preceded in death by his first wife Karen (Lefever) Behrenwald in 2009. Karen and Walt were married for more than 24 years.
Services for Walter will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at Brigham Funeral Chapel, Lakeview. The family will accept friends on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
