My Daddy, Now that you are gone it's hard to wrap my head around it all. Everything happened so fast before and after you took your ride home to Jesus. I'm still shaking inside from all of this. I wish you didn't have to leave so soon. You raised me when you didn't have too. I can never thank you enough for being in my life and molding me to take the steps in life that you always talked about. That ladder with the steps fell out underneath my feet when this happened. Growing up with Dale during the time we were in school was a hoot! He was always fun to be with! I will miss hearing his laughter and his facial expressions!! When we were back in Michigan I couldn't believe his talent with flooring!! He laid the tile and carpeting in my home and did it expertly. later on we replace the carpeting in one of my boats. Again that job was done amazingly! I sure wish we could have shared time together in our later years. He was such a gentle soul! Rest In Peace Brother!! Joel Smitter
