Wesley Allen Esch's Obituary
Wesley Allen Esch, age 80 of Remus passed away Thurs., Dec. 3, 2015 at his home with his son and daughter by his side. Services will be held at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus on Tues., Dec. 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rick Lipert officiating. Burial will follow the service at East Fork Cemetery-Barryton. The family will greet friends on Mon., Dec. 7, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home and again at 9:00 AM to the time of service on Tuesday.
Wesley was born Jan. 10, 1935 in Edmore, the son of Percy and Fern (Harris) Esch.
He married the love of his life, Wanda Belle Haney, on April 28, 1957. Wesley was then drafted into the U.S. Army where he earned his engineering degree. After retiring from the Army, he worked as an auto body mechanic until his retirement. His love for cars inspired his passion for working on them at home and even building a vintage care himself. Wesley also enjoyed fishing, movies, woodworking, model railroading, snowmobiling, building things and running a kennel business with his wife.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Wanda; children, Cathy Esch (Jake) Spindler, Allen (Patty) Esch and Jeffrey Esch; grandchildren, Jason (Dianna) Warner, Heath Esch, Felicia (Gus) Flowers, Casey Spindler, Arielle Esch and Trent Esch; great-grandchildren, Landon Warner, Auriana Flowers, A.J. Flowers and Keegan Warner; sisters-in-law, Agnes and Dorothy Esch and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lyle and Doyle Esch and a nephew, Danny Esch.
