William "Duece" Lee Burrows II's Obituary
Edmore - William Lee Burrows II (Duece), age 41, of Gaines Township, passed away on December 1, 2019 at U of M Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was born on October 3, 1978 in Grand Rapids, the son of William Lee Burrows Sr, Bonnie Lou (Hopkins) Burrows and Melvin (Ruthanne) McCarthy. He was raised in the Grand Rapids area and attended Central High School. He loved drawing, music, playing video games, building computers, spending time with his children and granddaughter, as well as other family and many friends.
William is survived by his mother Bonnie, dad Melvin. Children: Monica Burrows, Melanie Rothley, Samantha Haan, Madalyn (Matthew Bacon) Ehlert, Tyler Ehlert, Britney Burrows, Tanner Ehlert, William Lee Burrows III, Mya Burrows, and Granddaughter Annabelle Patin. Brothers: Kenya Lee, Jessy McCarthy, and Mark Ehrke. Sisters: Tracy Berrington, Tammy Burrows, Loretta Harris and Jennifer (Joseph) Gillis, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father William Lee Burrows Sr, mom Ruthanne McCarthy, grandparents George (Dorothy) Burrows.
A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Mayfair Church located at 1736 Lyon Street NE Grand Rapids with Pastor Vern North. All are invited to attend luncheon to follow directly after memorial service, at the church. In Lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to help with expenses in William's memory, donations can be given to Monica Burrows.
