William S Leonard's Obituary
William Scott Leonard, age 48 passed away Friday evening, December 02, 2016 with his family at his side. William was born on August 16, 1968 in Carson City, Michigan the son of Wayne and Janice (Tomlin) Leonard. He was raised in Crystal and the Stanton areas. William was united in marriage to the former Terry Grover on August 07, 1993 in Crystal, Michigan. He worked at several places which include; farm hand for Hansen's and Crawford's Potato Farm, a Lineman making bumpers at Spectrum; Jorgensen's, Caregiver at McBride Quality Care and was a proud volunteer fireman for the Stanton Fire Department. In Williams free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing; especially trout, camping, bonfires and just being outdoors.
William is survived by his loving wife of 23 years together for 28, Terry his children; Sarah (Gary) Maltman of Six Lakes, Alexander Leonard of Edmore and Sabra (Auztin Mumby) Leonard of Morley, 3 grandchildren; Cadence, Adrianna and Chevelle Maltman, a sister and brother; Carolyn (Scott) Williams of Xenia, Ohio and David (Sherry) Leonard of Holton. William was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers; John and Jim Leonard.
In keeping with William's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Billy Wright to officiate. Visitation will also take place Saturday, from 1:00 Pm until the time of service. Private burial will take place at a later date in Ferris Township Cemetery. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the "Wishes of the Leonard Family".
