William "Scoot" Thomas Rust's Obituary
Lakeview-William "Scoot" Thomas Rust, age 86, of Lakeview passed away on March 26, 2019. He was born on May 27, 1932 in Cottage Grove, TN. Scoot served his country honorably for 4 years in the Navy and then the Army. After his discharge he worked for U. S. Gypsum in River Rouge and then for the U. S. Forrest Service in Manistique, MI.
Scoot is survived by his 3 children, Donnie, Jeff and Lisa; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila and his oldest son, Ron.
A celebration of his life will take place at Chapz Roadhouse on the corner of M-46 and M-91 in Lakeview, MI on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
