Willis Charles Stevens, Jr.'s Obituary
Big Rapids - Willis Charles Stevens, Jr, 72, of Norwich Township passed away on June 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born on June 23, 1944 in Gaylord, MI, the son of Willis C. and Margaret E. (Walker) Stevens, Sr. Following graduation from Big Rapids High School, Will served for two years in the United States Army. After returning home from service, he worked for Art Bosch, then Bloxsom Roofing. Will later had his own roofing business until retiring. He is survived by four children, Wanda Covey of White Cloud, Tammy Leon, Wayne (Kelly) Stevens of Woodville, and Darrell Stevens of Woodville; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, James (Kathy) and Clifford Stevens; and one sister Carolyn (Stan) Bushre; plus many nieces and nephews. Will was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Lorene in 2012, and one sister, Velma Lintemuth. Funeral services for Will will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Interment will be at Woodville Cemetery.
