Carrie didn't act like she had other work to do at the LMS office yet everything got done. She made people feel loved. I miss conversations with her.
Some of my fondest childhood memories as a child were stopping and visiting Jason and Carrie with my uncle Rod or Roger, we'd make a visiting circuit of seeing them, and then stopping at Brian's and Ilo and Laurie! Then off to visit Oberlin's .man I sure miss those day's! Those memories are so fresh they seem like only yesterday! My heart goes out to the family!!
I know words don't help ease the pain, and sometimes we are unsure of what to do, or say at a time like this. Especially when you hear words from strangers of condolences, but they get to move forward with their lives, they say I am sorry for your loss and they keep moving forward, all while your world is crumbling around you, and you can't seem to make sense of it. My heart breaks for you, her family. I want you to know that Carrie was always a warm welcome when we would walk into the middle school, she seemed as a very kind hearted woman, plus she also got my sense of humor so that was always a plus. :)
She touched the lives of many students who have come and gone in the middle school. She had the pleasure of helping out 3 of my 5 children over the years. I just want to say she will be missed by many. And I know it's unfair but I am truly truly sorry for your loss. Sending big hugs, and lots of prayers to you all.
We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Brigham Funeral Chapel - Lakeview
She was a golden soul. In her profession, she touched the hearts of many students who built strong relationships with her. These children and parents knew she genuinely cared about them and their well being. Her presence at Lakeview Middle School impacted everyone who walked through the doors. Her thoughtful actions made you believe that you were safe with her. My family extends our condolences to hers.
Our deepest condolences! Love, Jeremy & Melissa Burns and family
I remember Carrie still as that young school girl i shared classes with everyday a quiet kind hearted soul always willing to share a smile and and ahand with school work when ever anyone ask , this makes my heart very sad may she rest in peace in gods hands now.
I am so sorry for the loss of a very special person in the family's and friends lives. Will always remember her calling Aunt (Toot) her Aunt Leen. She sure was loved there too. Be hard without her but she is finally at peace and without any more pain ever. Love you all.
Carrie was one of the kindest people I've had the privilege of knowing in my lifetime. She and I made an incredible team during our time together at Lakeview Middle School, where she served as my Secretary. Her warmth, dedication, and compassion will never be forgotten. I will deeply miss you, Carrie.
