Just hearing of this now, She was an awesome teacher. Confident and advisor, She truly did care about the kids and believed in Christ. I she gave me a Bible when I was in high school in which I appreciate it and kept for years (into my adulthood )while I was going through some difficult times.
Sure am glad our paths crossed in this life. Rest in peace friend
So sorry to hear about Connie's passing. We would have come for the Memorial, but were unaware of her passing until late in the day. I always thought Connie was "Cool", and I always loved her smile. She had a way of standing that I thought was cool also. She is finally at home and in peace.
I worked with Connie for many years at Grandville PS. I remember her as always having a smile, time for a quick chat, and never complaining. We were both "specials" teachers, meaning we traveled the district to the different schools in Grandville. I was fortunate to meet Phyllis at Connie's retirement party; I sincerely hope they had many years of fun after retirement.
I so enjoyed taking care of Connie at Green Acres! She was a sweetheart and I loved talking to her. She always asked about my kids. ❤️ She was one that would talk to me and even pray with me. She will be dearly missed! ❤️
I enjoyed Connie's friendship from one Van Houten to another. I was thankful for the many years together at Faith baptist in Greenville. And then bringing her brownies in Lowell. Blessings to your family!
