Carol and family thinking of you at this time. I remember working at save a lot with Dan in the meat room he was always a blast to work with. It was fun always trying to make him crack a smile or even laugh. Always talking about our hunting adventures. I can still see the look on his face when i showed up to work late. I was always scared of what he would say. He will be missed.
We met Dan and Carol years ago at the Ludington State Park. First saw Dan making breakfast outside of his camper, said Hi and friendship developed over the years. Always looked forward to seeing them each year, along with their friends Dick and Susie Root. They always invited Debby and I to their nightly campfires. Dan and Dick always brought enough firewood to heat my home for the winter. Had great times around those campfires. When Dan and Dick got to talking about their younger years, all I could do is hang on to my sides from laughing, and all the wife's could do is shake their heads. Our last campfire with Dan, he turned me on to Pistachios. We talked and ate nuts and tossed the shells into the fire. When Dan and Carol decide not to camp anymore, they drove up the next year and visited with us for the afternoon. Dan will be missed. We will be camping this Memorial Day in the same site where we first met him, So will be thinking about him a lot. God bless you Dan and your family Thanks for great memories.

We will always remember: Thank you Dan for video taping our wedding 22 years ago! For the quiet guy that you were you still stood up there and did that for us! Also for letting us come and swim in your pool! Prayers to Carol, the kids and grandkids. May they remember the good times:)
