I love this memory/story. It really sums up who Daniel was at his core. Thanks a lot for sharing.
I just spoke to Daniel on the 9th we had a great talk. He sounded like he was doing so much better. I told him I was proud of him. He was happy about becoming a home owner.I had plans to meet up with him. This was a huge loss to the world. I think we can all agree. That Daniel was a selfless man. He always would take the time to be there for his friends and family. Probably hands down the Funniest man I've ever met. He inspired me to be a better father. Adrian was his whole heart. No matter what he was going through. He made time.I will charish the great memories we shared.I sincerely apologies to family for there loss.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Brigham Funeral Chapel - Lakeview
So many memories. A lot more when he was a young boy. Daniel had a firetruck obsession and I thought of him ever time I saw one at the toy store. He loved campfires and picnics with family at School Section Lake.
I know that life was not easy much of the time for Daniel, but I hope he knows how much his Aunt 💔 and his family loved him. ❤️
My condolences to the family, we didn't really keep in touch after high school, then the summer of 2012 right after he got back we randomly crossed paths and honestly I was so happy to see him, he was always a close friend, my best friend, but that day I seen him he got out of the car an as soon as I recognized him I gave him the biggest hug an told him how happy I was to see him it's been awhile, we hung out that day an got to talking an told him I was going through a rough time in my life an even though there wasn't much he could do really, he was listening an supportive of my thoughts an feelings an ended up hanging out for a few days lifting my spirits an giving me different perspectives on life an all round just being a good, caring, honest friend who I will always consider a brother, we never did see each other after those few days together, I'm so blessed to spend those days with you R.I.P. Love always an miss you brother, until we meet again...
I remember this about Dan. He was always my mom's (Mrs. Rasmussen) favorite kid. When my mom turned 44, years after Dan had graduated, I reached out to him and asked if he'd like to surprise her for her birthday. He was overjoyed at the opportunity. Idk how far he traveled or what plans he dropped, but the look in my mom's eyes when he walked in was pure elation. Idk if she even noticed I was there, but he was the best present I could get my mom, and I'm happy he could do that for her. Rest easy, brother.
