We are sorry we aren't going to be there to celebrate the life of our dear uncle. Uncle Ernie and Aunt Evelyn (Grandpa and Grandma Stine to our kids) were significant in our lives. Of course, the
sports mentor continually encouraging through the years. Always kind and loving, a trusted home for our children while we were working. We feel blessed to have had them in our lives.

Kathy-Kris and Families-Your dad is the icon of baseball and youth involvement in Lakeview!!He was loved and admired by so many who may never have had an opportunity to play if it hadn't have been
for his big heart and generosity.Thinking of your family at this sad time.
Godspeed Ernie . You will be missed .
Ernie and Evelyn Stine were very highly regarded in Lakeview. Both very interested in their own children and ours, as well. Ernie taught those kids to be good people as well as ball players. He
taught teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for fellow players as well as the general public. Evelyn kept the "home fires burning," and managed to help keep the kids in line, and Ernie as well. :-)
They made us feel that we were all part of their family. Our sympathy to all the Stine/Johnston families. You are in our hearts. Helen Taylor and children, Mike, Shelley and Jason.
