My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the whole Vaal family. Jenn was an amazing friend to me from the moment we met at MSU. We lost track of each other in recent years, but I still, and will forever, think of her often. All of my memories of Jenn are of extreme fun and happiness. She had an easy going magnetism that just drew people in. She was always there to help and support the people she cared about. She never hesitated to open her house up to throw my sister a bachelorette party, stand by my side in my own wedding party, celebrate the birth of my children, or call when my dad passed away. Whether we were spending the night in with a movie or a night out on the town, I always felt love, comfort, joy when I was with Jenn. The last time we talked on the phone we assumed we’d have time to meet up again soon, and I’m just heartbroken that I’ll never get that chance. I love Jenn with all my heart and I just know she’s on the other side finding ways to look after her friends and family. All my love to Jenn and those who loved her. Warmly, Kate Sims
