Elizabeth Wangler
I just discovered this sad news of Lorraine's passing as I was attempting to reach her again today on her birthday. The last time we spoke must have been shortly before she passed. I've tried contacting her several times since then. Lorraine and I met when she was working at Lori's shoes in Chicago. She became my personal stylist for the time we both lived there. When she moved to Florida and I to Colorado at around the same time, we only checked in occasionally though I often thought of her and still will. She had an eye for design and style that few could match. I still have pieces of clothing that she insisted that I buy when I wasn't sure. She taught me to invest in timeless quality and they remain my favorites to this day. Though she had a knack for finding wonderful bargains too. I always loved and admired her kind heart and gentle demeanor. We had the pleasure of spending time socially a few times too. A time I still remember fondly was a beach day in Michigan. That's when she taught me the benefits of juicing and she swayed me with the armloads of fresh fruit she brought and prepared for us. Deepest condolences to all of her friends and family. I know she will remain in our hearts always. Happy Birthday, Lorraine!
