Margaret Sterling's Obituary
Margaret Sterling, our spunky, caring and sweet mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 in St. Louis, MI. Per her wishes, a celebration of her life will be held October 23rd from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Mecosta.
Margaret was born January 25, 1926 in St. Louis, MI; the daughter of Ralph and Rena (Oster) Snook. She enjoyed reading, watching baseball, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She had a love for apple pie and a way of making others smile.
Margaret’s tough and sassy nature will be greatly missed by her children, Daniel Sterling, Nan (Ed) Richter and Barb (Bill) Kozitzki; grandchildren, Katie, Jimmy and Bethany Sterling, Derek (Ashley) Miller, Danielle (Neil) Maneke, Mitch (Marissa) Richter, and Eddie and Schuyler Kozitzki, and five great-grandchildren, Tristan, Conner, Layne, Eli, and Daizy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Hugh Sterling and Bill Sterling; sisters, Dorita Hull and Rena Teegardin, and brother, Russell Snook.
