I'm so saddened to hear of John's passing. I had so many good times staying at his home with his daughter, Teri. He was very generous and giving. He will be truly missed. Thoughts and prayers are
with all of his family.
John and I were classmates, "AHS Class of 1961", also team mates in football, track and FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team. We visited during our 50th class reunion, to my recollection it was our first
meeting since graduation. We discussed our Vo-Ag class visit under Howard Bryant's guidance docking/neutering sheep on the Mills farm, and John's dad claiming we also neutered one being reserved for
a ram. And laughing over John, Ron and his dad chasing several of us thru the Ashley State Forest after being observed checking out the watermelons one late evening. I am glad I got to spend that
time visiting with John and reminiscing. John was a great guy and friend, please accept my sympathies in your loss
John you will be missed. The four of us had such great times! Thank you John for being such a good friend. Without you I don't know how I would have resumed my life. Love you John
Our sincerest heartfelt sympathy to "John's" entire family at this sad time. His sudden loss is hard to believe and we will miss him.
Prayers for your family.
Sincerely, Gordon and Feancine Shepherd
