Mervin Gordon Dailey's Obituary
Edmore - Mervin Gordon Dailey went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 16, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born to Don and Irene Dailey, on March 19, 1949 in Alma, Michigan. Merv met his wife, Ellen Elizabeth Hall at the Fairchild's Farm in Elwell, Michigan. They were married on October 21, 1965 and went on to have 4 children, Michelle, Adam, Heather and Merv Jr. Merv was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. In addition to being dedicated and a loving father, he also was a dedicated farmer. Merv lived on and lived for his farm. When he was not farming, he enjoyed riding his Harley with Ellen or playing cards in the shop with his boys, Adam and Merv Jr. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with his family and friends. Anyone who knew Merv knew that he was the most loving husband, father and Paps a family could ask for.
Merv is survived by his wife, Ellen; children, Michele (Mart) Gibson, Adam (Marcy) Dailey, Heather (Matthew) Robinson, and Merv Jr, (Stephanie) Dailey; grandchildren, Ashlee Smith, Cody Gibson, Taylor Gibson, Justin Dailey, Kirsten Dailey, Joshua Dailey, Kyle Dailey, Brianna Hilden, Jared Hilden, Lauryn Dailey, Cole Dailey; and 14 great grandchildren.
Merv is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Irene; and his grandson Riley.
