My friendship with Pat. It started about a year after our husbands passed in 2006 in our beloved gem Canadians Lakes. We both joined the Tuesday bowling league. Someone introduced us…and the rest is history of a great friendship. Our best day ever week was TUESDAY. There was a group of mostly widow ladies. We had so much fun up at The Royal Grill. We were known as “The Ladies of the Evening”. The Best group of lovely ladies!! Pat and I got to know each others families wish was a privilege for me.
You all say she had a sassy attitude I would say it was on the sarcastic side. I LOVED THAT HUMOR, that made Pat PAT!!
Part of our togetherness was traveling by car to FL AL Carolinas and all the cites in between. Before this happened we did a 10 day bus trip out east. I guess we figured we could go traveling after that. I will miss my best friend. I am glad we came into each others lives. Will miss our”Go Green, Go White” texts.

Pat was such a special lady and a wonderful friend. She will be greatly missed. She loves and knows the Lord Jesus and is home. She was a blessing to our church, Sylvester Community Church, and our hearts go out to her family all her friends who will deeply miss her.

Jill, Jenny and family,
Linda and I were deeply saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. There are so many great memories over the years with Larry and Pat and many more after Larry’s passing. I always liked her little ‘to do’ lists for me when we would visit her in Canadian Lakes and the opportunities to play golf at The Royal. Pat will definitely be missed, but please remember; you are always in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times.
