Over the past couple of decades or more, I had come to know Richard as a customer in our real time bookstore and out on the street in passing. Richard had a good heart; a huge heart and he was without doubt highly intelligent. We spent hours in conversation which I will miss dearly. More than a customer, he was a friend. He will be missed dearly in the stacks. Godspeed.
Brenda and I knew Richard, she knew him from Hixson’s and I knew him from Great Lakes Book Store in Big Rapids. We both thought so highly of him and wished we had known him better. He was such a kind gentleman, always willing to chat for a minute. We will miss bumping into him, and pray that he's is at peace, reunited with his loving parents. May God Bless you Richard.
