There are so many amazing memories that I could share. I think the ones that stand out the most would be coming up to mom and Dan's for Memorial day (for Ty and Dan's birthday) and Labor day with lots of friends, family, food, and fun. I am the LUCKIEST woman in the world to have had the privilege of calling her my mother in law. Normall, there is a negative stigma associated with "mother in laws." Not for me, she has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love from a parent. Mom loved people and people loved her!! When thinking about her, I think about her love for the outdoors and wildlife. She is the only person that I have ever known that could reach out and bond with wild animals. She has pet a wild skunk...yes, a skunk!! Also, when she would go feed the burds, they would welcome her by landing on her head, shoulders and the can of bird seed. The hummingbirds would do the same. She was able to hand feed the chipmunks, frogs, a deer with a fawn, and even had a pet raccoon! I am so thankful for the time that I had to spend with her. She took me in and loved me like her own daughter. I could go on and on about stories and memories but one thing I know for sure... is that when she passed, heaven gained a perfect angel, she definitely earned her wings....
