There's really not much we can say that would help ease the emotions you are going through. Acceptance is a long ways out. The statement "he's in a better place " doesn't even begin to scratch the surface . Please know we love and appreciate that you and your family filled Rods life with all the "Feels" he deserved. And we hope the memories you all built can bring warmth and comfort soon.

Q: How did you meet Rodney?
A: I met Rod years ago thru a family friend. But years later my Son David Richardson was friends with Micheal...David was killed in a freak accident while with Micheal. I remember getting a call a day later to see if they could stop over. I said of course. I put my arms around Mike and hugged him tightly and said it's OK. There is no one to blame. He cried and I was Rod or Darlene stood there with tears rolling down their faces and said thank you, that was the first time they said Mike cried. I have talked talked to Mike recently and said I'm back in Blanchard and would love to catch up...I love that boy like my own. And again tho I don't know Darlene as well as I got to know Rod. I love and love them both. Amazing people. I'm so sorry I lost touch. So very sorry for your loss. Please let me know so I can attend. Darlene know that my prayers are with you.
