OMG. I was so shocked to here about Roger. My condolences and my heart goes out to all his friends and family. Man,the times we had together with John , Brian, the Oberlin boys. I remember poker night, bowling, hunting and fishing together. John and Roger were with me when I landed my largest Brown to date. He helped me rebuild a snowmobile that ran maybe a quarter of a mile,then blew up. I remember going to the movies to see"The Fog". I could go on and on. I've got so many great memories. To his family,he was so much fun to be around. He will surely be missed. Scott Derenski

Some of my earliest childhood memories are fishing and hunting with Roger, he taught me to be an avid and responsible outdoorsman. Me and Todd used to go over to his house in Blanchard to hunt all the time, then later in life we all worked at uniform color company in Holland together. I lived with Roger for a couple years in my youth and he was like a father figure when I needed him to be, and like a brother when that's what I needed. He worked hard and taught me that hard work is how you succeed. He had flaws like we all do, but he was a great man that will be loved and missed dearly by many!
