Roger John Knox's Obituary
Lakeview-Roger John Knox, age 88, of Lakeview passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. He was born on February 6, 1932 and was a lifelong resident of Millbrook Township where he attended the Fouts Country School. Roger was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Alaska during the Korean Conflict. He was self-employed as a farmer, as a cook at various local restaurants and was best known as a baker for Leppinks Supermarket for many years. Roger was an avid vegetable and flower gardener, and enjoyed sharing his bounty with anyone who stopped by. He will be remembered as a friend to everyone.
Roger is survived by his niece and nephew and their families, as well as friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Betty (Marcusse) Knox; brothers, James, Junior and Russell; and sister, Marian.
Graveside services will be held at Amble Cemetery at a later date.
