Shirley Ann Bergin's Obituary
Lakeview-Shirley Ann (Jaquays) Bergin, age 75, of Coral passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville. She was born on April 23, 1946, to Newton and Virginia (Ostrander) Jaquays in Coral where she was also raised. Shirley attended Lakeview Community Schools, graduating with the Class of 1964 and continued her education at beauty college earning a degree in 1965. She married the love of her life, Robert Bergin on February 20, 1965, in Coral. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed talking with people, nobody was a stranger for long. "Her life was her testimony."
Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Bergin, of Coral; daughter, Teresa Day of Bitely; grandchildren, BJ, Kristen and Eddie Baker all of Bitely; great-granddaughter, Brielle Baker; brothers, Frank (Shirley) Jaquays of Coral, Marvin (Maureen) Jaquays of Coral. She is dearly missed and loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Charles Baker; and her parents, Newton and Virginia Jaquays.
Following Shirley's wishes there will be no funeral or visitation.
