Edmore- Steven George DeForest, age 73, of Blanchard, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Steve was born on July 16, 1949, to George and Eleanor (Esch) DeForest. He was raised in Blanchard Read Obituary
Steve was always a gentleman. We became classmates when Edmore and Blanchard joined and became Montabella Schools. We were members of the first Montabella graduating class of 1967. Although we only had our senior year together, my husband Dennis Smith and I have fond memories of Steve. Denny saw Steve often at car shows. They both had beautiful classic cars. Steve will be missed, and we send our condolences to Mrs. DeForest.
