Steven John Edwards' Obituary
Edmore- Steven John Edwards, age 64, of Vestaburg, passed away at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, MI on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born in Greenville on February 16, 1959, to Howard and Donna Jean (Hansen) Edwards. Steven was the epitome of an outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, nature, and those great trips to the Upper Peninsula. He enjoyed farming and just working in general. Steven was raised in the Edmore, Stanton area and went on to graduate from Montabella Community Schools in 1977. Post-High School, Steven attended ITT Technical Institute, where he studied for a few years. Steven was employed by Wilbur-Ellis, as a Commercial Fertilizer Applicator/Yard Foreman for over 20 years. On March 16, 2007, he married his forever soulmate, Judith Renee (Linton) Edwards. They started a journey that day at Lake Isabella that has left many precious memories. Steven is survived by the love of his life, Judith Renee Edwards; son, Curtis (Rachel) Edwards of Edmore, daughter, Courtney (Jemikal) Papendick of Edmore; stepson, Arron (Catherine) Adams of Sand Lake; grandchildren, Cameron, Grace, Maddisyn, Brentley, Alexis, and Layla; parents, Howard and Donna; siblings, Denise (Chuck) Cobb of Stanton, Monte (Michelle) Edwards of Edmore; and by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and infant daughter, Allison Kay Edwards. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Interment will follow at Richland Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 15, from 6:00-8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral chapel, and again on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
