My best memories of spending time at Grandma's house when I was little were her laugh, her great sense of humor, her worrying about us constantly, Neapolitan ice cream and lots of hot chocolate after coming in after raising hell outside in the cold. She was such a caring and sweet woman and will be so missed by all of her family and everyone that knew and loved her. Joel Houghton
Love and miss you Grandma
I remember Theda as a very kind and loving lady. She was always easy to talk to. Loved the times I was able to stay over night with Marsha. Also, working with her at High Q. She will be remembered with love.
I am sure we all have many treasured memories of Grandma. One of my favorite memories are of her teaching me to play Canasta when she lived in town. I can remember sitting at her kitchen table with her playing cards and eating ginger snap cookies, she always seemed to have ginger snaps. I know we all will her and my thoughts, prayers, and hugs go out to all who loved Grandma! Holly (Houghton) Beilfuss
To Theda family and friends, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I came into the Houghton family late in life so did not get to know Theda as well as I would have liked. When I did get to meet her I could tell she was a sweet lady and easy to talk with. May God comfort you thru this difficult time. Berniece Houghton
May you Rest In Peace Grandma
So sorry to hear about your mom Julie. I counted her as a wonderful friend and neighbor.
Sending our love to all. Many fond memorie of Aunt Theda spending time with y'all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
My Mom.... I hardly know where to begin. When I was very little I remember her holding and rocking me in her lap while singing softly into my hair. I remember feeling the warmth of her breath against my head. I remember feeling safe and loved. When I was older she helped me with so many things. I know Momma loved me, she loved my children, she loved us all. I will miss her.
