Thomas Lee Weaver, 70, of Big Rapids, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at home surrounded by family after a short, hard fought battle with cancer. He was born September 12, 1954, in Muskegon, the son of Chester and Patricia Read Obituary
Tom was my fishing buddy here in Sebastian Fl. He loved catching sheepshead and so did I. I am quite a bit older than Tom and he always looked after me on the boat and my RV. We clicked almost immediately when we first met. So much fun fishing and nice dinners at his place with myself he and his kind wife Sue and Pinky of course. Love you Tom. Find us a nice place to fish up there. Phil
Tom was a friend and neighbor to Jim and I. He was the "go to" guy in our subdivision if anyone needed anything. If he couldn't fix something he knew somebody who could. He was a hardworking, honest, and trustworthy man. He was our friend for a short period of time but will always be remembered. I will help Sue as she is just as special to me.
Tom would always meet me on the Detroit river or on lake Erie to see who was catching more. It was usually him. He liked to get up early maybe that's why....gonna miss him. I am sorry for your loss Sue and boys God bless
