This world is brighter and more light hearted because Tony walked among us. His presence is a gift we will treasure always. Tony will be missed as a faithful and dear friend, always there to love and support. His heart was BIG.
The twinkle in his eye was his way of telling you how special you are to him.
Tony, you will always bring a smile to our faces and a song to our hearts.

Tony had a larger-than-life voice. So commanding, and wonderfully clear. I enjoyed listening and watching him in the many roles he played in our yearly Lenten "Passion" plays at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. He was always so welcoming and inclusive to anyone he met. We shared many humorous times at the various functions and programs we both were involved with at church. I looked up to him, and he was really a mentor to me concerning how to best use my voice in the broadcasting business in Detroit. He gave me practical advice, and shared many of his personal contacts to help me get started in the voice-over arena. I will miss him so very much, and I so admired the faith in God that both he and Lynne shared with so many. Good bye my dear friend. Save a spot at the table in heaven for me.
I went to high school at Benedictine with Tony. He was one of the most likeable people I have ever met. I had the dubious honor of coordinating the school talent show our senior year. Tony played the piano for a musical group entitled Moby Dick and the Wailers. It was a good thing they agreed to participate because it was the only act we could find that actually had any talent. Post high school I ran into Tony at Christ the Redeemer Church and at periodic reunions. He was always a class act and will be sorely missed.

Sweet memories of Tony and Lynn when I stood up at their wedding 23yrs ago. And just last month, his beautiful smile when he discovered St Anthony on his patio! Rest in peace dear friend.
Dianne and I wish to express our condolences to Lynn and the family of Tony Gibbs. We will miss him and his many gifts especially his mellofonous voice. Tony was open to sharing his gifts with others through his music and his other talents.. He had a charm which immediately put you at ease in his company. With great sadness I say farewell to my lifelong Friend, Tony Gibbs. I have many fond memories of Tony and family. When Tony and family moved to St. Scholastica Parish we bonded and became close friends. In later years, we shared a weekly golf match and enjoyed the competition. After we moved to Texas, we continued to stay in contact. In our most recent 2014 visit to Michigan, we met in Marshall, to share a long afternoon at Schuler's. Sadly, it would be our last face to face visit.
