When I think of Yvonna I remember her coaxing our "naughty" puppies up to her cabin for some Doritos ❤️ and how she was up at 5:30 am to walk around the Bible School building to pray for more kids for the week. Sure enough, we would have over 200 by mid-week of Family Camp ❤️. She will be greatly missed by MCC but by the Zuiverink's more 💔.
When I think of Allan and Yvonna I think of their strong christian belief! They always had a good word to stay and with smiles when I greeted them at church each Sunday morning. I remember Yvonna spending her time teaching Sunday school and loving every bit of it! She love those kids!!! You will be greatly missed but only for a little while, until we meet again in heaven. It was my pleasure to work with Grandma Yvonna for many years when she was a foster grandmother at Lakeview Elementary. She cared deeply about the children and provided a safe haven for them. I would see her on occasion after she moved to Edmore as well. She leaves a good model for all of us to follow in making a difference in our world. She will be missed.
